The IELTS 2025 exam pattern has changed for both the IELTS Academic and General Training tests. However, the changes affect only the Reading and Writing sections of the exam. Test-takers appearing for IELTS in 2025 will be required to answer 85 questions within a timeframe of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Online IELTS Registration

  1. You must first visit the official website of IELTS. 

  2. Then, find the ‘register’ option and select the desired date and time of the exam. 

  3. Once done with that, simply fill in your credentials (as asked in the form). 

  4. After doing so, you must fill in your registration details.

  6. Then, attest a copy of your passport. 

  7. Select your preferred college/university. 

  8. In the end, pay the fees to complete the IELTS registration process successfully. 

Documents Required for IELTS Registration 

Individuals aspiring to take the IELTS exam 2025 must hold a valid Indian passport. This is the only document required for IELTS registration in India. During the registration process, individuals are required to procure their valid passports and submit the details of their passports to the conducting body of IELTS in India, i.e., IDP India.
